Built by practitioners, for the profession.
On 24 May 2004 a group of salon owners and estheticians met in Banja Luka and founded an association with one purpose: to raise the standard of professional beauty care and protect those who receive it.
Mission
To advance safe, ethical and skilled cosmetology and aesthetics through education, shared standards and mutual support among professionals.
Vision
A country where every beauty treatment is performed by a trained, accountable professional — and every client knows it.
History
Twenty years, year by year
- 2004
Founding assembly on 24 May. Registered with the court in Banja Luka (OBL F121403).
- 2007
First Code of Ethics adopted by the members' assembly.
- 2010
Launch of the annual hygiene & safety workshop series.
- 2014
Ten years: membership passes 150 professionals.
- 2018
Continuous education credit system introduced for members.
- 2020
Largest congress to date, with live treatment demonstrations.
- 2024
Twenty years of the association; over 300 members region-wide.

President
A cosmetologist with more than thirty years behind the treatment table, she has led the assembly through two decades of growth and still teaches the first module of every hygiene course.
Vice-President, Education
An esthetician and educator responsible for the seminar programme and continuous education credits.
Secretary & Ethics Committee
Oversees membership records, the Code of Ethics and the handling of client complaints.

Registered non-profit association
The association is registered under the Law on Associations and Foundations of Republika Srpska / Bosnia and Herzegovina as a non-governmental, non-profit organisation. It does not distribute profit to members or officers; all income from membership fees, seminars and donations is reinvested into education and public safety.
